In this summer edition of foraging education we will be focusing our attention on finding mushrooms, but will be putting in some plants as well to round out our foraging knowledge. 

We will focus our attention on how to sustainably harvest and utilize all sorts of delicious wild edibles and medicinals. 

Identification and learning how to be a member of your surroundings are big themes in all of my classes! 

This Class will meet at the grassy area between Higher Grounds (806 red drive Traverse City, MI) and Pleasanton bakery at 1:00 PM on July 18th

Make sure to dress for the weather and bring a bottle of water as we will be hiking for a couple hours at a time of year when it is very hot. 

All kids 12 and under are always invited free of charge! 

Classes are not cancelled for light to medium rain, but in the case of a catastrophic rain storm the class will be held the following day, July 19th at the same time and place. 

Refund Policy: all refunds are issued at 75% of the cost of the class due to fees being charged in both ends, and no refunds will be issued within 6 days of the class.
