Fall foraging Traverse City 09/05/26

Join me for a fun adventure learning all about the wild foraged foods that can be picked in the fall in Northern Michigan! In this class we will learn how to properly identify wild edible and medicinal plants and fungi that can keep you fed and healthy. You’ll go away with:

  • knowledge about sustainability 

  • How to identify plants and fungi

  • A sense of safety around plants

  • Knowledge about connection with nature

  • Nutrition levels of wild foods

Make sure to bring a snack and a water bottle as we will be hiking for 2.5-3 hours in hilly and uneven terrain. Make sure to dress for the weather. 

This class will be meeting at the grassy area between Higher Grounds (806 red drive, Traverse City, MI) and Pleasanton bakery at the Grand Traverse Commons at 12:00 PM on September 5th 2026.

All kids 12 and under always free to attend. 

Classes are never cancelled for light to medium rain, but in case of a thunderstorm the class will be postponed to the following day 9/6/26 at the same place and time. 

REFUND POLICY: due to fees charged to me on either end, all refunds will be issued at 75% of the original cost of the class. No refunds will be issued within 6 days of the date of the class.
