Each season can be marked by its edible and medicinal plants.  Late spring foraging is marked by a retreat from the Greens and shoots of spring, and an advance of mushrooms, berries and flowers as we transition into summer.  Come and join me at the Grand Traverse Commons as we leave this spring season.   Learn fun and exciting information about foraging and plant biology while also learning how to harvest sustainably doing no harm to the environment. Always remember to dress weather appropriate and expect an actual hike.  Class will meet at the grassy area betwixt Higher Grounds Coffee and Pleasanton Bread.  1-4 PM Kids 13 and under are always free and encouraged.  $25/Pre registered and $35/Day of event.
