Fall is now in full swing, the weather is changing to cold, harvest season is here. Traditionally thought of as an agricultural time of year, harvest is also an amazing time of year for wild foodies as well. Nuts, mushrooms, tubers and roots can all be found and stored during this amazing season. This class will teach beginners as well as those that have a little more experience.

WHAT: PLANT AND MUSHROOM ID

WHERE: GRAND TRAVERSE COMMONS MEETING IN THE GRASSY AREA BETWEEN HIGHER GROUNDS AND PLEASANTON BAKERY

WHEN: 12:00 PM- 3:00 PM

WHY: BECAUSE LEARNING PLANTS AND MUSHROOMS IS GOOD FOR YOUR SOUL!

KIDS 13 AND UNDER ARE ALWAYS FREE AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO HIKE FOR A FEW HOURS.

Bring a notebook if you desire and come dressed for the weather, this time of year can be hot or cold or both simultaneously.

I will have foraging books for sale for those interested in keeping up with the love of the outdoors.
